Suqia invites all corporations, research centres, institutions, innovators and youth from around the world to apply for the 3rd cycle of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award. The focus of the prize is novel technologies that provide solutions to the challenges of water scarcity.
The total prize fund is 1 million US dollars. The Award is comprised of 4 main categories that target pioneering organisations, research centres, individuals, educational institutions, and innovators from all around the world to motivate participants to come up with innovative, renewable energy powered solutions with the aim to either produce, distribute, store, monitor, desalinate and/or purify water.
Prize fund ranging from 20,000 US dollars for individuals to 150,000 US dollars for major innovation projects.
